    Thank you for the tutorial. Are you supposed to run both nginx and php as a service or only php-cgi? I may not be fully understanding what NSSM does.

    • Hello, sorry for my late reply. NSSM is a “wrapper” around PHP, to make it run as a Windows service. PHP itself can’t run as a Windows service. This way, PHP will be automatically restarted when it crashes or you can set it to start automatically when your computer boots. If you want a complete web server and PHP you should run both as a service. You can also start them manually without using NSSM.
